Another example was with one of his sons watching a data feed while standing next to Guilliman. The narrative said the son of the primarch was amazed and awed at the ability of his father to be able to process thousands of sources and still make tactical changes in a timely way. So, yes, the general in the war was able to fight a local battle and still command the entire battlescape as long as he received info from sensors and comms.

I'm really torn on the Ravaged Star stuff NOT because of the models.. models are awesome... but I just don't seem to be playing any big squad based games in a sci-fi setting... I haven't been able ot really get into Firefight by Mantic (but did back their Epic Warpath KS)... and I backed the original Veil Touched by Mini Wargaming... but I couldn't bring myself to back the aliens or the dwarves in Ravaged Star... although I really wanted to. Models are fantastic... but I can't in good faith pickup like 100 models just to play skirmish One Page Rules or something like Xenos Rampant with only 4 squads per side... lol But I do want those aliens for Ravaged Star... so cool looking.

To counter your thought on why people shouldn’t care. I was brought into this community and science fiction world from seeing my first custode. I went into such a rabbit hole that brought me to be the fan that I am. If you didn’t write it down before. Or just had some historical writing within the many stories within warhammers universe. You can just slip some shit in like that and change the whole outlook of a very specific and top tier group of individuals that play a pivotal role in the imperium of man. It is just bad writing to just say it on a twitter post and be all nonchalant about it. For what they do as characters and how they are how they act how they even look. Their story and just everything of how they are. Female custodes just would not fit.
